Although dangerous, this practice has become very common in many countries. I remember that in the 80's and 90's, we had an outbreak of this practice in Brazil, especially in the suburban train systems of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Out of curiosity here the trainsurfers challenged life against 3 kV DC voltages.

Unless trains in Russia run on 12 volts DC, it's probably dangerous to be on top like that!
