No, surprisingly neither the engine nor the railroad have much Southern heritage. The scheme is very much inspired by Southen as was the railroads steam engines back in the day.

This is the ol' Tweetsie line (ET&WNC). It's funny that even though it's a G&W owened line, that not even they would put this line in a G&W Orange paint.
