How is the KCS doing financially? I read that other railroads were thinking of buying it?

I know that line very well. Its a shame they took 3162 off the locomotive consist.

IMHO CP wants it to bankrupt along with CSX. Wouldn't that create a conglomerate?

KCS stock went up 25% last year and 4% so far this year. April 20 they release quarter results. They are down $4 from a 52 week high of 114.

I know that there are only 4 KCS trains a day on the Meridian Speedway. The rest are all UP and NS trains. The Gulfport Sub only runs 2 trains a day between Gulfport and Hattiesburg - one NB and one SB. Those only run 5 days a week.
Kyle, I hate they took 651 off the consist. It's one of only two SD40-2's in the Belle scheme.
