The original AEM-7's were built with technology from ASEA of Sweden (A), bodies built by Budd in Red Lion and assembled by EMD in LaGrange (EM). SEPTA and MARC's AEM-7 bodies were built in Austria due to the demise of Budd.

Thanks - didn't realize that the manufacturing (for the car bodies of the AEM-7's) was later changed from Budd in Philadelphia, PA USA, to the Austrian firm Simmering-Graz-Pauker.
