i have made several, several deliveries to the Alliance community over the years. The rail yard is next to U.S. Highway 385. There is a short dirt road between the highway and the tracks where I usually try to park my truck overnight just to watch the trains. This is a very good place to see out-going and in-going trains. Quite a bit of action here. One thing is that the tracks south of Alliance parallel U.S. 385 for about 10 or so miles. Pretty good action here, too.
