They can be a wealth of information and convenience but the train could be derailing and heading right for them and they'd all be oblivious staring at their phones !

I actually see only two people on the platform with their mobile devices in their hands, and one person looking at printed reading material - everyone else seems to be looking at their feet or just looking at the platform they are standing on! So this is NOT a case of everyone is looking at their phones people. Nice photo and good catch Alex. Love the human aspect of "group behavior" that is displayed here!
