Gotta admit, I’m kinda surprised to see so many B-units still in operation. Nice catch!

Growing up in the Spokane area (near Reardan in fact) afforded me the opportunity to see some of the action on this line thru the 1980's and into the mid-90's. Besides the wonderful sight of seeing Grainger and lumber traffic, this line was a treasure trove for the older power during the BN days. GP-9's, GP-30's and other first generation power were common. It's nice to see BNSF is carrying on a similar tradition. There was plenty of traffic to afford 2 or 3 daily trains - almost mainline railroading but with jointed rail, no container/trailer traffic and none of the common road engines like the SD40-2. However, these days I'd be glad to see those SD40's again.
