What are the two black locomotives behind the UP ones? Norfolk Southern?

Good question - I just looked at the original and my best guess is Illinois Central, and I seem to recall seeing some IC units there - a bit unusual.

I have photos of 12 different IC locomotives in this very same spot. Always was happy to add another one to my collection! We got weird foreign power here all the time...Dakota Minnesota and Eastern, TFE, Indiana Harbor, lots of neat stuff. About 5 miles west of here the UP line crosses the BNSF line, and it was always one of my very favorite railfanning spots.
