THANK YOU, Ian ! I have been waiting for years to actually see what the LC&M had for power. Would have loved to been able to see this operation when it was functioning. Shame on me, for in 1968 I COULD have made the trip North and done that, had other priorities not gotten in the way.

Sorry, hit "send" too soon. Ian, do you have any other LC&M photos that could be posted ? Did LC&M have their own hopper cars or did they use D&H cars ?

I have no other photos of the LC&M. They did have their own ore jimmies but I don't recall them being in service at the time I visited from 1968-1971. There is an excellent history of the LC&M and Port Henry on the New England Berkshire and Western model railway website.
