Posted by Dale Roth on March 17, 2019  This was probably the one popular thing with SP cabooses having the red light protecting its rear. Even my HO scale cabooses have the same. Along with their flat disk antenna. While ATSF had their red lights on the rear overhang SP had them on the roof. Although, I loved both. Posted by Bill Edgar on March 17, 2019  The newer caboose had the roof light. Both had radio dishes. I think this was unique to the SP family.
