I already wrote a previous comment on another Skookum picture, but I want to say the efforts put forth on this project are even more obvious in this close-up picture. Fabulous job, folks.

Skookum... many years ago I was at Fort Lewis, WA, and all the porter potties were called Skookums. This must be an Oregon/Washington thing.

This engine was originally from the Little River Railroad in Tennessee. Oddly, they had what was basically the smallest articulated steam locomotive (this one) and I believe they also had the smallest pacifics (4-6-2) ever built as well. And they're both operating. The pacific is (or maybe was until recently?) operating somewhere in Michigan.

I'll second Tom's comment - great job, great shot!
