Simply incredible shot. The yellows of the train and the landscape with the strikingly red locomotives make this photograph awesome. Well done. I see this is your first photo submitted to the site as well! Hope to see more!

I must say for your very first submission to RP.net, you've knocked it out of the park! Fantastic photo Trevor, and I must say, looking at this location on Google Maps, I wonder how you were able to capture this photo? Unless this is a Drone shot, there ain't any roads near where this photo location is. Only "road" I could see on the satellite view is a couple of horse trails used for service access by the Union Pacific track crews in an emergency. WOW! Incredible photo, Trevor! I look forward to seeing more like this one - or better!

Thanks all for the kind words - new to the site, will try to add some more photos over the coming weeks. @Dana - Hiked in from Lyons Ferry Rd along the access road. Was lucky enough to pick up the train in Spokane so it wasn't too long of a wait.
