Did the 614 get a waiver to operate over the RF&P without Train Control?

That shot is on the original B&O. I don't think 614 ever ran on the RF&P. I would love to see the 614 run again. Hardest engine I ever tried to chase.. Send it to Steamtown, where all main line steam should go to run for a while (UP steam excluded).

Understand Thomas Viaduct is on the B&O - but if the train and the 614 are going to Richmond they are going over the RF&P to get there.

The train operated on an all-Chessie route, taking the B&O to DC, and the C&O from there to Richmond, via Alexandria, Orange, and Gordonsville.

Still operated on the RF&P to AF, where it would have gotten on the SOU as the C&O used the SOU from Gordonsville to AF on trackage rights. There was a waiver in effect North of AF on Train Control.
