I’m curious about the primer. It looks like they prime the portion that’s retained without stripping it and just let the parts to be discarded catch the overspray. Will we see scabby paint in a couple of years?

Is there really a need to prime the parts that will be cut off and scrapped such as the spartan cab portion of these?

If you prime over paint you get a crappy paint job usually, no?
