Nice contrast shot. Now normally I am not a car guy and I lean to Ford Mustangs anyway but since I was alive at the time, I knew that car is not from 1962. Sure enough, that rear end belongs to the Buick Skylark 1970-1972.

you're right Dennis, it's a 70 Skylark, 71's and 72's shared a slightly different bumper and taillights. Looks almost salvageable except for the caved-in roof, shame to see it go to waste! Maybe the UP could try its luck in car restoration, they seem very good with locomotives !
