This is not a slug, but a fully powered 3600 hp B unit.

This is a great picture showing five years into the partnership that JB hunt had with the Santa Fe railway starting in 1989. At this time, most of the JB hunt intermodal fleet was containers on chassis's. This was because in just a few years stack trains would become the norm as they are today. Very interesting scene here.
