Correct me if I am wrong, the line veering to the right goes to Millis, correct? Thanks for posting this.

Yes, that diverging track was the connection between the Walpole-Framingham line on which the train was running and the Needham Junction-Millis-West Medway branch. Also, the two lines crossed at a diamond located between the signal and the grade crossing seen in the background, but it's obscured by vegetation in this shot.
