I grew up in Roxboro (and later Pierrefonds) and at about 14 I stupidly crossed this bridge on foot with my friend. Coincidentally, the next day CN Police came to my high school (which was near the tracks) to teach us kids about railway safety and specifically told us to stay away from this bridge, because 20 years earlier 2 kids died crossing it when a train came (neither was hit; both jumped, one hit his head on the concrete abutment, and the other was electrocuted when he reached for high voltage electric cables, that ran along the bridge). I never crossed that bridge again!
