Westbound and after the train hits that point on the bridge it starts headed S to Ritzville and then on down to Pasco and then S over some interesting trackwork to the mighty Columbia River and follows the river west into downtown Vancover running the Washington side of the riv. Probably full of grain as their are a lot of elavators on the way up to Seattle. Longies load the ships full of you name it wheat, corn, soybeans and then alot goes to Asia in those huge bulk tanker ships. That route is the most level and efficent. A unit train headed to a port city. Alongside the water. Seattle Portlan and Spokane was the old trackage route most of the way. Latah Jct. is the switch there that sends the train over to Wenatchee and over the Cascades to Everett and Seattle used by a lot of container trains time sensitive cargo hotshots and JB Hunt GET OUTTA TOWN YESTERDAY TRAINS. Now the mty grainers are sent to Auburn and hauled EB to Ellensburg over the old Stampede Pass Northern Pacific Railway line to Yakima and SE to Pasco. Then sent to faraway places to loadout again in America. Our country sure exports a lot if Agri to the world. Seattle an Tacoma both have good loadout elavators right on the bay. Tis a interesting operation, all the different ships afloat an alotknot.
