Odd that they terminate a Guaranteed Service intermodal train in Ft. Madison, which is more a "block swapping" yard than a destination. Oh, and I think you mean Fort Madison, Iowa.

Thanks, exBNSFer, for the correction in the location of Fort Madison! I've been there, but obviously forgotten which state it was in. Duh. As BNSF's operations, they have recently made a number of changes and new symbols are showing up. For example, freights out of San Diego used to go to Barstow, but now some go all the way to Belen NM - and they are symboled as intermodal trains! Which is odd, as there is no intermodal facility in San Diego, and the intermodal cars are not added until Barstow (out of San Diego they are solid autoracks, but symboled as intermodal - very odd, and I thought it was a mistake the first time I saw that symbol). Things continue to change on the BNSF!
