Wow. That's quite an experience. I remember in summer of 2000, I was dispatched to pick up a forklift at Sheffield Steel in Sand Springs, OK. (I drove haul truck for local forklift dealer.) As I waited for them to bring me the lift, I was admiring an SW7 setting in the shop not in use. An employee walking by stopped and asked if I liked it. Then he told me I could fire it up and take it for a drive if I wanted. I gladly declined as I didn't know the first thing about even how to start the thing, let alone drive it with no assistance. Glad you got to have the experience.
