Thanks for uploading, Ted. I remember that day very well, watching the TV news reports of the train's progress, while at Grandma's house. Thanks for the map reference, too; Google Street View clearly shows today's "steps to nowhere" descending from the concrete bridge in the background and additional electrical lines straddling the top of the old Pennsy catenary poles. I've often wondered what the steps were used for, when observing them from Amtrak's and NJT's NEC trains.
