This reminds me of something I noted many years ago, "In the 1960s, ATSF and B&O-C&O liveries didn't exactly contrast." (And, coincidentally, ATSF+B&O/C&O would've made a reasonable combination if the merger movement had gone in the direction of transcontinentals...)
