"Now this is no longer possible, since december 2019 the trains doesn't go on the ferry." Is there any other rail route, or do the passengers simply disembark at one terminal, ride the ferry, then board another train after the ferry? How does rail freight move Sweden/Denmark to & from Germany? Thank you in advance.

Looks like the through rail route is from Copenhagen across/under the Great Belt to Kolding and then south to Germany. Correct? Thank you. Very interesting.

...Looks like the through rail route is from Copenhagen across/under the Great Belt to Kolding and then south to Germany... Yes thats right. Now they construct a tunnel (17.6 km) from the island Fehmarn (Puttgarden, Germany) toward Lolland (Rødby, Denmark) for road and rail. Opening planned in 2024
