Is there any other rail route, or do the passengers simply disembark at one terminal, ride the ferry, then board another train after the ferry? How does rail freight move Sweden/Denmark to & from Germany? Thank you in advance.

Looks like the through rail route is from Copenhagen across/under the Great Belt to Kolding and then south to Germany. Correct? Thank you. Very interesting.

Yes thats right. Now they construct a tunnel (17.6 km) from the island Fehmarn (Puttgarden, Germany) toward Lolland (Rødby, Denmark) for road and rail. Opening planned in 2024
