When I was driving a truck until several months ago, I used to make a few deliveries to the Moab area every now and again. I normally drove south off Interstate 70 along US Highway 191. Along the 30 mile trip, you got to see the fantastic scenery and the rock formations as you got closer to Moab. Also along the way, there was the Union Pacific railway line just off Highway 191. Once in a blue moon, I got to see the potash train with those big UP diesel locomotives belching the smoke out of the exhausts as it headed north pulling those heavy laden covered hoppers alongside the beautiful rock formations. You could spot the railfans along the way when you saw the cameras and video recorders come out and do their thing!
