The offset headlight on this former SP EMD SW1500 reminds me of the Santa Fe EMD GP60Ms. Any idea why they (UP) didn't move the headlight to the center?

I see a cover plate for a single round light application dead center above the cab door, classification light cover plates, and another dual headlight plate engineer's side. Looks like the reason for offset headlight setup
