NS's shutdown of Linwood had nothing to do with COVID-19, they have wanted to shut it down since they started PSR. COVID-19 is just their excuse. Before anyone asks me how I know, I'm a furlough conductor who used to work out of Linwood. 85 people lost their jobs so NS could make a few extra bucks, $381 million profit last quarter.

cavranger As a former NS employee as well I get where you are coming from and am VERY sorry to hear of your furlough, as well as the loss of work for so many others. Although I was simply sharing the public statement from NS for the reasoning behind the closure we have certainly seen effects of PSR elsewhere across the system. I truly hope business increases and you and all of your fellow brothers return to work soon.
