Okay railroaders help me out. The cantilever farther back displaying the stop and clear, wouldn't the near single mast always indicate the same display as the left-hand one (stop) on the twin-mast in the distance? Admitted, the train obstructs the view of the track arrangement behind it, but would the 2 left-hand signals ever display different indications? They appear to be for the same left-hand track. (I hope I phrased that the way I meant it)

NS Lehigh Interlocking is back to back with an older interlocking, BLOCK TWO, that includes a diamond crossing with the BNSF. To avoid having to re-signal the complex diamond crossover, the Southern built LEHIGH back to back with BLOCK TWO. Because Southern uses route signaling, the NA is governed by the eastbound mast signal to the left and then immediately by the cantilever searchlight signal mounted to the right of the main track and the left of the other searchlight signal. The other searchlight, displaying Clear, applies to a second track that branches off behind the camera to connect with the SA Line.
