As a retired long distance truck driver, I had been down this road several times over my career. Very beautiful scenery through the canyon. This photo is off U.S. Highway 20 between Thermopolis, Wyoming and Shoshoni, Wyoming near the Lower Wind River Campground where I had parked my rig for the night near the entrance. There are three tunnels almost next this area for U.S. Highway 20 and three tunnels on the BNSF across the river. I was told by the residents there that BNSF runs three to five trains a day through the canyon. If you stay at the campground, you can see the trains entering and exiting the southern-most tunnel.

Thanks for comment. I thought it would be neat to be camped when a train comes. Traffic is light, I was very lucky to get a NB and SB in morning light in the one day I was there.
