Eddie, the far rails go east through Redlands and into San Timeteo canyon toward Banning, CA. I spent many hours watching and photographing trains from this very location. Last time I was there (about 2001) I think they had posted large "no trespassing" signs on the bridge and actually started arresting people who stopped or were on the bridge. The bridge on the left heads toward Cajon Pass, everything leaving the Colton yard exits to the east regardless of it's destination. The 'disappearing' mountain on the right of the photo has become Portland Cement and the cement was used in just about every construction project in the southwest. It is nearly gone today - I saw it in 1954 when I was just 5 years old! :)
