What a Shame, there looks to be lots of Classic Power, some of which should be saved, donated to museums, but I'm sure there's worth to NREX as scrap value, but still a Shame to see many scrapped

Maybe there's a cracked block or broken crankshaft in that CP AC4400's recent history. There must be something to sideline a locomotive who's stablemates are still racking up miles and tonnage.

I say this every time I see someone post a shot of this lot, but it sure would be nice to see WC 2500 preserved!

Loooove the photo, AJ. Before scrapping these former glorious beauties, why not remove builder plates, cut off some nice pieces etc, for any of our train rooms/man caves? Drone flybys etc, could be made into dvds, etc that us obsessive few would go crazy for.
