Great shot Kevin. I am hoping that the 611 can return to Strasburg someday- I never tire of seeing it in action.

I hope 611 will continue to run as an excursion train forever. I hope all steam engines that are preserved will be well maintained for static displays and excursion runs. They're a great part of our American railroad heritage. I do my part to show my love of steam locomotives and keep their memories alive by purchasing HO scale brass representations of the real-life steam engines whenever I can. I've just purchased an HO brass N&W "J" class, 600-series steam locomotive (#611). I am so ecstatic to own this small scale version of the iconic #611. It's my way of keeping #611's memory alive.
