These things are truly hideous. It looks like someone let children loose in the design studio and gave them creative and final design approval authority. Every time I see one of these monstrosities I think of an old cartoon character called Droopy Dog. It was a bad cartoon that may have “inspired” this visual assault. It is appropriate that this train was chosen as the image for the UGLIEST trains contest.
