A few years back, when I was truck driving before I retired, I used to make deliveries here. The shop is east of Alliance on State Highway 2. I mostly hauled railcar wheels, sheet steel, or steel beams. I saw the two locomotives there as well. Most of the time they were not being used. This company is a busy place as they have a lot of railcars to repair mostly sitting on house tracks. Quite a number of repaired cars as well. If I had a delivery to make and it was after hours at the shop, sometimes I would park my rig on the south side of Alliance on a small dirt road next to US 385 so I could watch the Burlington Northern trains enter and leave the railyard there.
