Some of these units might well have traveled on the former DME/ICE, exx-Soo Line, ex-Milwaukee Road line on the Iowa side of the Mississippi, especially those in former CP or NREX markings and a few other leasers like that CEFX (?) gray-and-green unit a few tracks over. About 10 or so years back there was a rainbow of paint schemes in and near the Quad Cities. Good times indeed.
