East bounds are usually MTY. Lot of grain trains take the Columbia River to Vancover and north to Tacoma an Seattle route when their full of grain as its a more level route with other stops and graineries in between. These trains run outta Auburn where they are made up to head over Stampede Pass to b sent to b loaded in various parts of America, my home sweet home. This day couldnt come soon enough. Yi- Haw- Byby baby ! What a great picture of the former NP route along the Yakima River. Glad they reopened this scenic route.
