I've only seen this bridge in person twice, and that was from the New River Train in October 1998. My wife, a central Missouri native, had never seen anything like this either and she was definitely impressed! As impressive as the bridge looked from an Amtrak (TM) car, it was nothing like this view. In a word, WOW!
Now if they could only make something like this out here to keep this WVa Native happy out here in the heartland . . . oh, well, we do have memories and photos like these. THANK YOU for taking and sharing this picture!
