Let's meet at the junction and have a coke. Great photo David looks like a cool spot to watch some trains. Take the tracks away an there goes the trains, or take the trains away an their go the tracks. hmm have to think about that one kinda like the chicken or egg which came first but in reverse. Happy Birthday America .Now will some tell me what the heck are those loads at the bottom of the photo. Are they ocean buoy's ?Now zoom in and yes their's a passenger platform overhang tucked in this photo 2 cars back of the power .

Those bladders contain carbon black headed for the Uniroyal tire plant on the south side of town. Have been looking for a shot of the empty, deflated bladders headed back to the supplier. Know I have one/some, but unable to find so far.

Thanks for posting all these great shots you have Mr. Harris. When you took this shot, I would have just turned 9, and these pictures remind me of the excitement of traveling and seeing different loco's, different paint, different cars, etc. Now travels mean seeing an AC44 whatever painted either yellow, orange, blue, or black pulling a stack train. I'm glad to see them busy and hopefully making money, but sure do miss the variety.
