Nice shot! From looking at Google Maps, it looks like there are a half dozen of these trestles between Crab Orchard and Westel. Seems to me an astute drone photographer could get all of them in one day. How often do these trains run Tracey?

They run MWF usually so far as I know. OD at 7 am local time. Once they leave it’s about 1:15 or so to Rockwood and the same back and they work the NS Interchange in Rockwood fairly efficiently. Really fun line to chase.

Back in the day, people often would not initially put faith in crossing certain new railroad bridges - this would be one I'd have concurred, at least with a modern freight train. Wild to see it still in use today. Great shot, Tracey!

Appropriate photo...and a very great one at that. Trains magazine is featuring an article about this very railroad in the current November issue.
