Exactly where is the L&N building located in Loyall? I reside north of LaFollette, TN not too far from Loyall. I'll make a day trip to go see it. Did mot know there was any physical evidence left concerning L&N. I do know of an underpass just south of Knoxville, TN on Tennessee State Route 33 that has or had L&N emblazoned on the side of the bridge.

Dan it is in Harlan County KY, it is on the far end of the yard by the flood wall. It was the interlocking tower. It hasn't been used in over 40 years.

The tower is located alongside Route 413 at the Sukey Ridge Road Junction. The best way to follow the route is from Dairy Queen at the 119/421 Junction and go from there. Google Maps could help you in assistance if you are still lost.
