Wow that is a real interesting City of South Beloit is in Illinois along with the Pearl Lake. If you look on google maps there is some railroad equipment on the property of the Pearl Lake camp ground left over from when the Milwaukee Rd had a spur that ran to the Behr metals scrap yard and then over there. The sand pit just North East of there now called Lake Victoria was on the Belividere Beloit SUB of the CNW which was removed in 95 or 96 with only a spur connected to the old MLW now DME line running through Beloit.
