Look at it this way, when riding there you don't have to worry about being groped or pickpocketed by anyone, well, at least not by anyone other than the county coroner.

That's the embodiment of stupid. I've ridden subways in London, Paris, Chicago and NYC. They all have one thing in common. They tend to sway. Some more than others, but NYC is famous for tons of swaying. If these idiots weren't ready for a large shake, and they didn't have a good grab onto whatever they're grabbing, they'll fall off the train, possibly landing on the third rail.

this was my station when I lived in Washington Heights. It is a really beautiful station. This brings back fond memories.

There's two of them in the cab of the train too, so someone must have a key to bypass the locked door...
