Neat car, I think one of them is at a railroad museum in TX now. Of course there are hundreds if not thousands of them on Lionel layouts and collections across the country.

I wonder how much heavier the car would be after it was filled. Or was it made heavy so it wouldn't float off the tracks?

Note that the cars LD LMT is only 4002, while the LT WT is 232200 ! The helium is under very high pressure (3000 psi) so the pressure cylinders are very heavy wall thickness.
