My neighbor that used to live behind my property used to operate the Alcoa Terminal Railroad locomotive #9, as shown, a long time ago. The scene above is alongside Duncan Station Road in Alcoa, TN adjacent to the Norfolk Southern tracks out of Knoxville, TN. Also, the location of the photo is about halfway between the old ALCOA South Plant and the old ALCOA North plant re-named Arconic. Norfolk Southern and CSX both serve the railyard at the South Plant. One and a while, you might catch CSX, NS, and ATRR all in the railyard.
