Always good to see Chessie System! Hmm, looks like a note for weathering a model of 3819 might be to give roof a very light spraying of a thinned dusty/faded purple. 7601's roof has weathered rather differently. And 7778's roof is different from the other two.

That is Firestone Yard at the left used by Conrail as they had trackage rights over the old B&O. Erie's tracks would have been to the right. The 3819 saw a lot of iron ore tonnage causing the roof to have a different color. In fact, this may be an iron ore train as the Chessie didn't always have enough power to pull Akron Hill., and they didn't use SD units when not available. And they only loaded the ends of the cars as they were often heavy being loaded about 2/3s. Loved the color scheme.

At first I thought that was reddish dust on the blue, but looking at the nose, I now suspect it's the blue paint wearing thin and the red paint showing through.
