Man, this series really makes me miss those days back in the 80s up on Sherman Hill.

very cool shot. I looked at this on googlemaps and noticed what looks like an old bit of abandoned and pulled trackage. I have to assume that that set up was for turning around helper steam units. Once we got modern diesels, which can run either way, it wasn't needed so was pulled.
