With the country going 'green' (energy) and the Big Boy surrounded by electrical equipment, maybe the 4014 got converted over to electric operation and the crew is just trying to find the electrical outlet on the 4014 so they can plug the 4014 into the nearby electrical system to charge the 4014's batteries. All kidding aside, very neat photo!

Agree, very neat photo. (But I don't think the concern is the catenary - it's the articulated making the tight curvature...)
