Great picture and wonderful story. Treasure your time with him. I lost my dad in December 1969.

Way back around 2010-12, I was pastor of a small church in Galesburg, One Sunday afternoon I drove to Kewanee but never found the main line as Bryant and his father did. Seeing an Amtrak train zipping past at nearly 80 would be a marvel! Great photo and thanks for the story, too! My late father, by the way, was an operator and later dispatcher for C&O in West Virginia for 20 years or so but he always focused on the "business" side of railroading. I guess he left the picture-taking side of it to me!
