Thanks for posting your photo -- I too was no stranger to the Collingwood deadline. It still pains me to this day to see whatever life existed in these mechanical beasts be sucked out of them and thrust aside. Sort of a harbinger of things to come for Conrail, a damn fine railroad.

Rebuilt with an SD45-2 hood, not an SD45T-2 hood, which would have been a radical change internally with the cooling system.
