Interestingly, this train is parked on the fenced in and lighted track that was built for servicing Amtrak's Northeast Regional trains, which run from Roanoke to the NEC.

That is interesting! I haven't been back to that part of town since the Amtrak service started in earnest, so I hadn't made that connection before.
